The work of Jakob Wagner can be found here:
Some real fine industrial, nighttime, and city shots, with that curious, cool white balance that shows up more often than not. Solid colors and contrast from a seasoned traveler.
I have a second book finished, and it can be read in its entirety online at www.ShapesIndustries.com, under the publication tab. The book is also available in print through my Blurb bookstore.
This is the final story of David Rin, an alter-ego that once belonged to the Municipal Heroes Artist Collaborative. Originally started as an adventure epic, the tale slowly transformed into a journey of spiritual turmoil, with the main character hunting for contentment at what ever cost it might bring. It is dark and absurd at times, but an exercise of lessons learned at its core.
2012 marks the tenth year of my photographic practice, so I’ve assembled ten milestones of personal growth from 2006 to present day in commemoration. I started with 2006 because it’s when my digital work began in earnest. Photos from before then only exist as film, and barely illustrate any conceptual thought beyond attractive scenery.
Each image is an item of pride, indicative of personal achievement in thought and execution of technical skill. Listed in chronological order, these ten images describe my own artistic style as it has evolved over the past six years, and illustrates the consistencies in what I want my work to communicate, in what I consider important to express through my chosen medium of photography.

The work of Chris Round can be found here:
This guy always seems to be nowhere, on some kind of empty planet. Once you start digging through all of his work, you’ll see very strange places, things with secret history, anomalies, like wandering around in limbo from one point of interest to another.
More interpretation of the fort mentality.
Interior design, decoration, spaces of magic and romanticism.
Big windows, plants, and fabrics seem to be key features of my favorite rooms.
Images of exterior design, architecture, and outdoor spaces that I love.
I can’t wait to landscape a house of my own, put that fort mentality to work. All I need is a good plot of land. You can do anything with land.
The Last of Julien Coquentin's "Block" Series
Julien Coquentin, also known as “Bwiti,” is bringing his long time running photography series “Block” to an end. I’ve been carefully watching and anticipating every submission, and was beginning to think that the collection might never end, but it has, and will remain one of my favorite projects from one of my favorite artists.
Anoek Steketee can be found here:
Absurdity found within fabricated environments, nice and quiet, but with an excessively human touch, these landscapes feel like private dreams.
These 10 images are my personal favorites, selected from several years worth of exploration with the art collective known as “Municipal Heroes.”
All 10 were pulled from my new book, “Sets, Scenes and Stages in Exploration,” which chronicles the Municipal Heroes story, and my own development as an adventure photographer.
This project marks the most serious body of work I have made to date, and has served to lend perspective to a lifestyle I no longer follow, but that has changed me immensely.
The book, Sets, Scenes and Stages, has 205 pages, 134 of which consist of my photographic work; the rest are filled with stories and anecdotes. It is printed at 13 inches wide by 11 inches tall, in full color on black paper.
The images and stories are told in chronological order and act as a retrospective of the numerous trials, successes and foolish endeavors that my friends and I had experienced.
The release of the book was celebrated with a solo exhibition that featured 25 images from its pages, printed and framed at 17 inches by 21 inches.
The book is available for preview and sale at my online store front here:

“Sets, Scenes and Stages in Exploration”
Completed Early 2012 - Photography and Short Story Book - Shapes Industries
I’ve got a gallery show coming up, and I don’t think it would’ve ever come together without the help of my family and friends. It’s amazing to me how the pieces are falling into place. I had this huge collection of work from my time spent in the art collective, “Municipal Heroes”, and I needed to produce a major project for University graduation. One book idea later, and I’m printing out 25+ images and ordering several copies of the book in preparation for a solo exhibit.
All the self-publicizing and advertising is beginning to feel a bit weird to me. I had always thought I’d be a career artist someday, and I’m not saying that’s what I now am by any means, but my situation is unexpected and grand, and I can’t help but hope someone will take notice of my work and finance my lifestyle.
